Ozeri Green Earth Wok Review

Wokking All Over the World!

I haven't had much luck with woks in the past; I don't have the patience to faff around with seasoning a traditional wok and my previous (so-called) non-stick woks have not lived up to their name.  So, when I was asked to try out the Ozeri Green Earth Wok, I was interested to see how it would perform.

Over the last couple of weeks, I have been putting this wok to the test with:
Curry
Scrambled Eggs
Mushroom Omelette
Sausages
Sweet and Sour Chicken

I am delighted to report that the Ozeri Green Earth Wok does exactly what it says on the tin!  It has coped with cooking everything without food getting stuck to the bottom of it and having to be scraped off.  I tried deep frying oil at a high temperature for some salt and pepper squid rings and they turned out beautifully, although generally, I've found I used less oil when frying, which is a bonus.   The Green Earth bit refers to the fact that the natural ceramic non-stick coating on this wok doesn't involve using harmful chemicals; hurrah!

Best of all, this wok cleans up so easily and without having to threaten it with a good scouring; even scrambled egg just washed off with soapy water.  The zingy green colour of the wok is lovely and I forgive it for not blending in with my current kitchen scheme; who cares, because at last I have a decent wok.

You can find the Ozeri Green Earth Wok here for £36.95 and my verdict is...

'I like it, I like it, I like it, I like it, and I'm wokking all over the world!'

Disclosure: I was sent this wok in return for reviewing it; all the opinions in this review are honest and my own.
