Sew, Santa Baby!

Oh, hello cheeky!

I am planning on making some Christmas Stockings for all the good girls in my family this year (that won't be many then!).  So, what do we think to making them with some of this Alexander Henry fabric, which is charmingly called 'Hurry Down the Chimney'?  I think this is a line from the song, Santa Baby, as sung by the wonderful Eartha Kit.

Back in January, I picked up a couple of these large Cath Kidston Christmas stockings in the sale for £3.50; perfect for my little girls I think.  My sisters and I always give each other a Christmas stocking every year, full of interesting bits and pieces; I'm thinking that the sexy Santa fabric would add a cheeky little touch to their stockings this year.

I can use the Cath Kidston stockings as a template and it shouldn't take long to knock a couple out (ooh, errr, missus).  You can find the Alexander Henry fabric over at Fancy Moon for the very reasonable price of £13 per metre.

Now don't go getting all Grinchy on me and start complaining that it's too early think about Christmas!

As Leslie Phillips would say; 'ding dong'. Galx
